I am Márcia Medeiros, a business lawyer, from Pará and passionate about what I do. During my professional career as a lawyer and manager of the Legal Department, I had the opportunity to interact with the strategic areas of large national companies from different segments and also with public entities. Such interaction allowed me to acquire a broad, practical and realistic view of the corporate world and its constant challenges, and this reflects in my work, as content director at Tothbe.
Postgraduate in Digital Law, I have the “Privacy and Data Protection Essentials”, “Information Security Foundation” and “PDPF” certifications, all by Exin. I am a member of the Legal Committee of ANPPD® (National Association of Data Privacy Professionals). As a co-founder of Tothbe, I play the role of Director of Innovation and New Business. With more than 30 years of career, I worked in large multinationals such as Du Pont, Sandvik, GE, Walmart and Novartis. Compliance Specialist, for the last 15 years I have dedicated myself to working in the areas of Compliance and Risks, having been responsible for the implementation of the program in Latin America following the “Guidelines” of the DOJ – US Department of Justice.
In 2018, I was awarded by InPacto (Instituto Pact Nacional for the Eradication of Slave Labor) for leading initiatives in the fight against slave labor. My goal is always to bring effective solutions to companies, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
